About

Hi! I'm Minju Gwak, a graduate researcher at Yonsei AI and an incoming MSCS at Georgia Tech, focused on understanding the internal dynamics of reasoning in large language models.
I'm driven by questions that I find intriguing and am interested in solving them in a manner that is both rigorous and insightful. Particularly, I am curious about how internal structure gives rise to behavior. The questions I am currently most interested in are: What are the structural patterns of reasoning in LLMs, and to what extent do they reflect genuine reasoning rather than memorization? Then, how does environmental interaction perturb or reshape those structures?
I am advised by Prof. Jaehyung Kim in the Department of Artificial Intelligence at Yonsei University. I'm always open to new ideas and collaborations, so feel free to reach out via my email!
